With that being said, come along with me for part of my day as we go waterfall hunting internationally. Yes!!! International waterfall story time. On November 2, 2023 my friend and I decided to drive 45 minutes from Medellin to Retiro to see a waterfall which is suited on the Rio Negro river. Getting to the waterfall was pretty easy, thanks to Google Maps. The waterfall is visible from the road and does not require hiking. I was in a trance when I laid eyes on this magnificent cascade. The water flew down the giant, sun baked rocks like milk from heaven and ran away fast into a tiny but swift stream. Surrounded by tall, lush green trees and soft beds of grass, makes it easy for an ideal picnic spot.
